Board Policies

Board Policy (BP) is the voice of the Board of Trustees and defines the general goals and acceptable practices for the operation of the College. It implements federal and state laws and regulations. The Board of Trustees, through policy, delegates authority to and through the President to run the College. The President, faculty, staff, and students are responsible to reasonably interpret Board Policy as well as other relevant laws and regulations.

Updating Board Policies

District Board Policies are periodically updated to clarify or change language, as well as to remain in compliance with new or revised Illinois and Federal law. The College reviews its policies and procedures during a continuous review cycle to ensure they are appropriately updated.
